New Exhibition by Hennadiy Kim: A Journey into the Invisible

20 March 2025

«A Journey into the Invisible» is the new exhibition by Hennadiy Kim at the Bleschunov House.

Visitors to this exhibition will have the chance to see the artist's latest works created over the past two years. During the exhibition, creative art therapy sessions will also be held, allowing attendees to delve into their feelings through color.

Hennadiy Kim employs the technique of pointillism, which allows for unique color effects that traditional methods cannot achieve. This technique enables the viewer to perceive colors directly on the retina, creating a sense of depth and complexity.

Maria Apryatova, the curator of exhibitions at the museum, emphasizes the artist's mastery of this method: «Kim is able to convey the most subtle shades that can only be seen in nature, transporting us into the mysterious world of the invisible».

In his new works, the artist has for the first time used acrylic paint, giving his pieces greater contrast. His main aim in painting is to showcase the invisible through visible means, creating a unique experience for viewers.

«We can feel profound thoughts through color and composition. A painting can be seen as a reflection of the unknown, which is hard to describe in words. This concept has become the foundation of art therapy, helping to address internal issues through art,» says Hennadiy Kim.

The exhibition will be presented at the Odesa Museum of Personal Collections from March 20 to April 15, 2025.

Visiting hours: Thursday to Sunday from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
