Celebrating Musical Heritage in Vienna

Yesterday, the anniversary concert titled «Musical Treasures of Odessa» took place in the Austrian capital.

This significant event brought together the finest musicians, highlighting the cultural heritage that defines Odessa.

The festival was initiated 10 years ago by Igor Pokrovsky and has become a vital part of Odessa's cultural landscape. «Musical Treasures» continue the legacy of the renowned educator Peter Stolyarsky, who trained many brilliant musicians.

«This concert in Vienna is our way of expressing gratitude for the support shown to Odessa and Ukraine during these challenging times. We are thankful to Austria for its solidarity, and it is a great honor for us to present Odessa's culture at such a prestigious level. Odessa has always been the cultural capital of Ukraine, and we are committed to preserving its unique creative heritage for future generations,» said Odessa's Mayor Gennady Trukhanov during the festival's opening.

The festival continues to strengthen the cultural ties between Odessa and Vienna, bringing forth new musical talents and showcasing the rich Ukrainian cultural legacy.
