Anniversary Concert of the 'Zabava' Choir in Odessa

On December 19, a special anniversary concert featuring the 'Zabava' choir from Art School No. 3 was held at the Odessa Philharmonic. The ensemble celebrated its 25 years of creative achievement. 

The Director of the Department of Culture, International Cooperation, and European Integration, Ivan Liptuga, congratulated the school and presented awards.

«It is essential that young musicians take to the big stage from an early age, growing and improving alongside masters of their craft. Recently, the cultural project 'Odessa. U-NEXT' took place at the Opera House, uniting the art schools of Odessa and showcasing the synergy of primary, secondary, and higher music education. This is how stars of Odessa are born in the professional environment,» said Ivan Liptuga.

During the concert, the 'Zabava' choir performed alongside the Chamber Orchestra of the Odessa Regional Philharmonic named after D. Oistrakh, conducted by Volodymyr Dykyi. 

The young artists displayed their virtuosity under the guidance of Svitlana Smyrnova. Notable musicians and singers, who have collaborated with the choir for many years, also participated in the concert.

The 'Zabava' children's choir has been confirmed to hold the title of 'Exemplary'.
