Sculptural Art: An Educational Journey for Children

Renowned Ukrainian artist Mykhailo Reva introduced children to the fascinating world of Odessa's sculptures during an educational tour. 

Mykhailo Reva is a prominent sculptor, architect, and graphic artist, known for his remarkable works that enhance not only Odessa but also various cities worldwide. Among his notable creations are the «Angel of Mercy» near the Rehabilitation Center, «Tree of Love», and the fountain «Beginning of Beginnings» in the Greek Park. 

He is the founder of the Reva Foundation, a winner of international competitions, and a key contributor to the Babyn Yar Memorial Museum project. 

«Sculptures preserve memories of events, people, and eras; they serve as markers of time that shape urban character. Engaging with the younger generation is an investment not just in culture as a sector, but in culture as a mindset», emphasized Mykhailo Reva. 

During the workshop, children were introduced to the sculpture-making process, saw the materials used by the artist, and learned about his ongoing projects.
