Modern Music Festival in Odesa

On August 14, 2025, the Odesa Regional Philharmonic hosted the opening of the contemporary music festival known as «Two Days and Two Nights of New Music».

For two days, the philharmonic stage will showcase the most avant-garde and unpredictable music of our times: from electroacoustic pieces to multimedia projects, and from chamber music to interdisciplinary experiments.

This year's festival is dedicated to the heroic struggle of the Ukrainian people against Russian aggressors. The 30th edition of the festival features a program that combines works by Ukrainian and international composers created during the war, reflecting the resilience of the Ukrainian people and their armed forces.

Approximately 50 works will be performed, including 10 world premieres from both Ukrainian and foreign composers. Many of the musical performances will have theatrical elements combined with visual art, sound, video, and multimedia installations.

The festival is supported by the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine and the Odesa City Council.
