Anniversary Book Exhibition in Odesa

From June 6 to 8, Odesa will host the anniversary XXV All-Ukrainian exhibition-forum "Ukrainian Book in Odesa Region".

The event will feature a series of activities, including professional discussions on the state of publishing during wartime, presentations of new Ukrainian publications, autograph sessions, public interviews, and creative platforms. The exhibition-forum will also serve as a venue for charitable initiatives aimed at replenishing libraries in the Odesa region, a space for dialogue between professionals and the public, and a platform for promoting reading.

Additionally, the program will include an off-site Ukrainian Book Festival in Balta, the traditional "Best Book of the Exhibition-Forum" competition, and events dedicated to the Odesa literary school. Together with the Odesa Regional Center for Ukrainian Culture and the NGO "Ukrainian Club of Odesa," a space will be created to introduce elements of Ukraine's intangible cultural heritage.

Among the invited guests are Andriy Kurkov, Liubov Yakymchuk, Andriy Kokotyukha, Valeriy Puzyk, Taras Fedyuk, and others.

The event is organized by the Odesa National Scientific Library in collaboration with the Ukrainian Publishers Association, the Book Chamber of Ukraine, the Ministry of Culture and Strategic Communications of Ukraine, and the Odesa Regional State Administration. The project is implemented with the support of the Ukrainian Book Institute and local authorities.
