This biopic serves as a chronicle of the quest for truth, beauty, and the spirit of the times. It is symbolic that we filmed in Odessa and Kyiv — where everything began.

Every scene is a recreation of the past, a love letter to Ukrainian cinema, and a tribute to a director who viewed the world as an artist and created as a true craftsman. Dovzhenko didn't just make films; he lived them.

We aimed to do the same: to traverse this journey amid challenges, yet with unwavering faith in the power of Ukrainian cinema.

The premiere is scheduled for 2026 — marking the 100th anniversary of Dovzhenko's work at the Odessa film studio.
